I probably could've used a facial before I got married, but the weeks leading up to it were a relatively calm affair. I didn't stress too much about my makeup, and the same was true of my skin. I did pay a bit more attention to face masks in the days leading up to the wedding, hoping for a bit of a refresher.
For a nice cleanse, I chose this deluxe sample of Omorovicza Deep Cleansing Mask, a clay mask that never feels drying that leaves my skin feeling soft.
To give my skin a bit of a treatment, I used the Chantecaille Fruit and Flower Acids Mask, one I purchased over the holidays (and never opened!) after seeing how nice it made my gross winter hands look. Thinking back on it now, I probably could've have thrown in a bit of a stronger peel type mask, like Ren Flash 1 Minute Facial or Oskia Renaissance Mask, both of which I have deluxe samples of and the latter of which I haven't yet tried. Perhaps I should've used all three! However, I quite liked the Chantecaille mask, which was gentle and made my skin feel softer and look cleaner.
I was feeling a bit dehydrated that week so I also slathered on Sisley Black Rose Cream Mask, which may just be my favorite moisture mask to date!
So I'd say that was a pretty relaxed week when it came to face masks, wouldn't you? How did you prepare your skin for your wedding (or other special occasion)? Did you stress out about your skin when you got married? I'd love to know!
