If you've been hanging around the blog this year, you probably know that I am a big fan of Belif - I enjoy their moisturizers and have been seriously obsessed with their First Aid Anti-Hangover Soothing Mask all year. So, when they released more masks in the range this past summer, I definitely wanted to give them a try, and I'm so glad I had the opportunity to!
I'll start with my favorite - the Anti-Hangover Soothing Mask is something I wear overnight almost everyday. This jar is actually my second, because I immediately purchased another as soon as I saw I was close to using up the first. Intended to relieve sensitive and stressed skin, I'd say that it definitely does that. My cheeks often get a bit red nowadays (I suspect from allergies) and this always calms things down!
I was definitely a bit wary about the Belif First Aid Overnight Brightening Mask*, as my skin often doesn't react well to masks marketed to brighten the skin. However, this one contains black truffle extract, amber, pearl and gold powder, and was definitely gentle on my skin. I didn't have any reactions even wearing it overnight, and felt that my skin did look good in the morning.
I'm also really enjoying the Belif First Aid Transforming Peel Off Mask*, which is such a fun formula. You apply an almost cream like product and let it dry, and when you wet it, it becomes a gel that you can peel off! Novelty aside, I do think this mask improves my skin texture and makes it feel super soft - it definitely clarifies, as the product description claims using ingredients like lemon balm and white willow bark.
All in all, I've really enjoyed these masks and imagine I'll continue to repurchase all of them when I have finished them. I think they're all moderately priced at $34, and I don't hesitate to use them as much as I want to. It does look like the Anti-Hangover one is not available on sephora.com right now, so I hope that doesn't mean it will be discounted... Eek! Anyways, have you tried these masks or any other products from Belif? How did you like them? I'd love to know!
