Summer has really been heating up around here and lately I've been really enjoying this lightweight moisturizer from Tatcha. Intended for normal to combination skin types, this water gel moisturizer is the perfect product for hot summers!
When I first received this moisturizer from Tatcha in the spring, I wasn't sure if it would be for me. It is very serum like in texture, and I thought I would need more to keep my weirdly reactive skin hydrated. At the time, I was right, though this was a great alternative to the other serums I was using. As summer (and whatever my hormones are doing!) progressed, however, my skin has been more oily in the t-zone and this has been perfect.
I've been using this almost everyday for the last two weeks, and I'm really loving it. My skin seems less oily and more normal/balanced than with other moisturizers, and it just feels refreshing to apply. (A little goes a long way with this one, otherwise it can feel kind of wet and sticky!) My skin also feels well hydrated, and this has seemed to keep my reactive cheeks soothed as well. I love the idea of it tightening pores over time, but we'll have to see if I can use it consistently to tell.
I'm liking this moisturizer right now, but I'm not sure if it would have a place in my routine if my skin starts to be dry again, though I would totally use it as a serum if that happens. I'm for sure using this (and loving it!) for the rest of the summer, though! Have you tried this moisturizer from Tatcha? How did you get along with it? I'd love to know!
