A little while ago, Tatcha launched two beautiful new products in their skincare range. I've been a huge fan of Tatcha products over the last few years, and these new additions are no exception. I was so excited to receive this wonderfully packaged box from Tatcha, and I really should have shared them with you sooner!
Tatcha Luminous Overnight Serum Concentrate*
The first thing you'll notice about this serum concentrate is that it is in a jar. Yup, this jar contains the most unique, springy, jello like texture I've ever experienced in a skincare item. It literally reforms itself!!
My amazement with the texture aside, I do find that this gives my skin such a boost of hydration. I apply this at night after my cleanser, and occasionally with an essence beforehand, and I wake up with skin that looks well rested, balanced, and properly hydrated. Yay! Those of you who experience the horrors of winter will definitely appreciate this one - it is as if my skin never reacted to any terrible weather conditions.
It is meant to be used under a moisturizer, but I'm generally finding this to be ok alone for my skin most nights, which is currently normal, occasionally oily in the t-zone, and generally reactive to life. (LOL) I've also read that others use this in the daytime, but the product does take a few minutes to absorb and feels a bit sticky in the meantime. Not something that I have time for in the mornings!
I have so many serums open right now that I'm trying to get through, so I don't use this every night, but I think I prefer this to the multistep routine I would otherwise have. (The fewer steps the better!) I'm really excited to continue using this, cause my skin just feels so good when I put it on!
Tatcha Luminous Deep Hydration Firming Eye Serum*
I'm no eye cream expert, but I have really been enjoying this one when I remember to use it. Tatcha describes it as a weightless serum, and it really does feel that way - it is wonderful for layering, if you need more hydration around the eyes. Tatcha describes it as the following:

This weightless serum of Okinawa Red Algae, Honeysuckle Leaf and Caffeine offers instantly-visible firming, reduced puffiness, and plumping hydration to diminish fine lines.
Why it’s different:
A cooling ceramic applicator and fine dust of 23-karat gold brighten and diminish shadows under the eyes without adding shimmer.
While I can't see the long term impact of this product since I am SO inconsistent about eye cream (working on it!), I do love how luxurious it is to apply. The cooling and lifting effect of the applicator is lovely, and my undereye area really does seem to look better. I'll have to report back once I manage to use eye stuff more consistently - because this product really makes me want to use it all the time!
