Even though I've been wearing more makeup in general, I'm still super casual with it most of the time. I'm especially not a fan of early mornings, so I tend to only manage one or two products if I manage to put anything on at all. Lately, I'm finding that I always want some sort of base, no matter how light it is - I just can't put on any makeup without it - and then, if I need to look presentable in a hurry, I love throwing on a nice lipstick. Read on for my favorite combinations lately!
For Being Lazy: Skin Tint + Lip Glow
Over Easter weekend, I rediscovered my much loved Dior Addict Lip Glow and the finally tried the new to me Glossier Perfecting Skin Tint. My skin was looking a little blah and my lips were dry, so these two were the perfect combination for a lazy day with the in-laws and were the inspiration for this post! (More to come on all the Glossier goodies I recently bought!)
If I need a little more coverage, but still not so much coverage, I reach for Nars Velvet Matte Skin Tint or Chantecaille Future Skin Foundation. Top that off with my latest lip balm love Malin + Goetz Lip Moisturizer or my other sheer lip love, Givenchy Le Rouge-a-Porter in Coraille Decollete, and I'm all set and ready to go. :)
For Being a Real Person: Foundation + Bold Lip
Yup, I call wearing makeup being a real person, LOL. For a rushed makeup look when I want or need to look put together, I'll apply any number of foundations with more coverage and throw on a statement lip. I'd like to think that I almost look like I tried... haha! Some foundations I've been reaching for of late include Armani Luminous Silk, Givenchy Photo'Perfexion Fluid Foundation, and Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation.
For that bold lip, I've been loving my new Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks, my much complimented Estee Lauder Lip Potion in True Liar, Nars Audacious Lipsticks, and the new Tom Ford Patent Finish Lip Shine in Exposed.

I'm finding myself wearing at least one of these products everyday, and apparently I don't like to leave the house without wearing some sort of base at the very least! I don't know about you, but when the weather gets cooler and the air gets dryer, my hands dry out and look pretty gross! Needless to say, hand creams are my friend. This year, I've been testing out a nice selection of hand creams, and tend to have 2-3 options in my bag at any given time!
