Phew, it is finally Friday! Hopefully your week wasn't too long, cause I know I'm tired. I feel like the weekend is a great time to indulge a little, and what better way than splurging on one or all three of these products to update your daily routine!
Upgrade Your Hand Soap
I don't know how I didn't think of this as a thing before now. Seriously though. I absolutely have Molton Brown's Hand Wash in Rockrose & Pine* to thank for this sudden realization. I'm a loyal Method Hand Soap user, but this l Molton Brown soap really elevates my hand washing experience and makes me feel fancy. I know, I know, that sounds ridiculous, but I wash my hands constantly and this just makes me feel pampered! This particular scent is woodsy and fresh at the same time, and it doesn't dry out my hands like so many soaps can. Yay!
If you're interested in giving these a try, Molton Brown always has lovely holiday gift sets and even a hand soap ornament available!
Pamper Your Face
You probably take off makeup everyday, so why would you content yourself with mediocre cotton pads for your precious skin? I splurged on these Shiseido Facial Cottons a few years ago, and I've been addicted ever since. They're so soft and squishy, I could never go back to anything else. You could also try Cle de Peau, but I found them to be very similar to the Shiseido in texture (CdP is owned by Shiseido!) though they are larger and more expensive per package. If you're looking for an upgrade, Sabrina over at The Beauty Look Book has a fantastic roundup of her favorite cotton pads here.
Splurge On a Candle
I've talked about my love for this Cire Trudon Dada candle before. (Read about it here and here.) This is my can't live without it / special occasion candle that I just die over. It smells like tea, and costs so much money that I want to cry. And this is just the travel size!
While your candle splurge doesn't have to be nearly as spendy as mine, a candle upgrade of any kind is well worth it in my book. If you typically shop Bath & Body Works for candles, why not try the selection at Anthropologie? (I'm a fan of the Capri Blue candles) Or if you've always wanted that Diptyque candle, why not treat yourself?
What products do you splurge on when you feel like pampering yourself? Do you think you'll be trying any of these? I'd love to know!
