I go through phases where I buy lip products like a crazy person, and lately I'm finding myself wanting to buy just about every newly released lip product. Yikes. In an effort to use more of my stash, I've decided I have to do a post all about the lip products I've been using in a week. Then I can't escape using them, right?
I can't tell you how many times I've started this post and failed to use much of anything... Cause I've been thinking about using more lip products AND doing a post like this since July. Actually, the date on this post draft is March 11th. Sounds about right. As you can imagine, I've failed and rewritten this post several times. Here's hoping I can actually do this!

The day was decidedly fall and this lip color was perfect for wearing Tom Ford Patent Finish Lip Color in Orchid Fatale! I loved this formula over the summer and I finally broke out this shade. Why was I saving it? I don't know. It's so gorgeous!

Had a rushed morning (as usual) so all I used was the Dior Addict Lip Glow Pomade. I'm loving this lately cause it is hydrating and provides a little bit of color. A proper review is coming soon!

So, I was a mess this morning and sort of put on Dior Addict Lip Glow Lip Liner. I meant to put a gloss over this, but I forgot. So i just wore this lip liner by itself... which is weird? But since it is just a "glow" shade wise, I suppose it wasn't that weird or noticeable. The product itself does feel hydrating on the lips, so I'll be curious to actually try it with lip products properly.

Apparently, cool weather means dry lips over here, lol! I used the By Terry Baume de Rose Nutri-Color Gloss in #3 (from this set), which has a really pretty pop of red along with a nice bit of hydration. I'm super picky about fragrance in my lip products and this was a day that I definitely wasn't into it.

Total fail. I'm not even sure I used lip balm, and I'm certain I needed it. Well, maybe I did once lol. Still not good enough!

I bought this Bite Beauty High Pigment Pencil in Winterberry in one of the Bite holiday gift sets at Sephora... apparently in 2014. This is the first time I used it, and I found that the longevity was very good, and the color was quite pretty. I wore it through a meal, and while it transferred as you would expect, it still looked vaguely decent enough that I didn't mind not reapplying it. I did find that my lips were a bit dry wearing it, but I'm not sure if that was because they were dry to begin with. (I suspect so!) I'll have to test out the formula more for sure!
There you have it - a whole week (sort of, lol) in lip products! I'd like to try this again sometime and do a better job, haha. Do you have any tips for me? What lip products do you reach for on a regular basis? Do you switch things up daily? I'd love to know!
