Over the years, I've found myself collecting items that I love but just can't bear to use very often. I've never been a girl who saves her beauty products for any reason, but I'm finding myself saving products from certain brands... I need to kick the habit (what's a luxurious beauty product for if not to be enjoyed?) so I thought I would share a selection of those products with all of you.
I always hold on to my Diptyque candles but this one in particular is just impossible for me to use. Perhaps my love for Diptyque's Eau Rose perfume has prevented me from being able to use this lovely companion candle. Either way, this one has sat in its box for more than a year... And Aesop is another one of those brands that I can't bear to use up, and this little tube of Rosehip Seed Lip Cream has sat untouched for quite some time.
I also hate to admit how long I've had this bottle of Tatcha's Pure One Step Camellia Cleansing Oil. I've used up a number of travel sizes of this and love it, but I just can't bear to break the (very pretty) seal on the bottle. I'm thinking as cold weather approaches, this one will be the perfect accompaniment to the rest of my skincare routine. (Original post here.)
My love for African Botanics is definitely well documented here on the blog, but for whatever reason, I always save this jar of the Intense Skin Repair Body Balm for those dire situations. It really soothes any irritation my skin seems to come up with, and I fell in love with it the moment I saw how quickly it smoothed out an old scar from stitches. (Original post here.)
Last but not least, my Chantecaille Fruit and Flower Acids Mask. I do freely use a few other things I have from the brand, but something about this pricey peel makes me want to save it for a special occasion! (Like my wedding, here.)
Are there any products you love but can't bear to use? I'd love to know!
