Tatcha is a brand I always love, from the intricate details of their packaging to the product formulas themselves. So, when I was given the opportunity to try their new Indigo Soothing Triple Recovery Cream, I knew it would be perfection. In particular, my skin has been weirdly reactive and somewhat irritated in the last few months, and just the name itself sounded like a dream already.
Specifically formulated for sensitive skin, this cream contains ingredients (3% colloidal oatmeal!) intended to sooth the skin. (The Tatcha website has some fantastic before and after photos, actually! Check them out here.)
This product is definitely a cream in texture, in tune with the Indigo hand and body creams, so those who dislike this sort of texture may not like this one. (Side note: have you noticed that so many products marketed as creams these days are more liquid or gel-like than you expect?) It is also purple in color, which I find quite fun. Sometimes you just need a visually pleasing moisturizer, right??
What I love the most about this cream, however, is its ability to soothe my irritated skin. Sometimes my skin feels dry/itchy, and other days it is noticeably red/bumpy... Or a combination of all of them! This cream seems to calm it all, and much better than just about anything else I've been using lately. I've decided that I absolutely need to save this jar for when the weather gets colder!
All in all, I think this is another fantastic product from Tatcha. Have you tried this new cream or anything else from the Indigo range? What helps keep your skin feeling calm and normal? I'd love to know!
