Everyday Makeup Look - Attempt #1

As some of you may know, I'm on the search for a quick and easy everyday look. I think that I've told many of you that I'd much rather sleep in the mornings than put on makeup... Actually, I barely brush my hair! (YIKES!) I really enjoyed the look I did for the February Hauls video I posted last week, so I wanted to show you a few close up shots. It probably took me 10-15 minutes to put this together (yes, I'm slow!) so I definitely need to trim that down... Also, please excuse my sad red nose! I was so sick that day that I didn't put anything on in the nose area cause it was just going to get wiped off! :)

If you saw the "before" photo, you would be impressed with these products! I was so pale and had horrible bags under my eyes!

Products Used: Nars Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer in St. Moritz, No7 Cheek Tint in Peach Silk, Clinique Quickliner for Eyes in New Black, L'oreal Infallible Eyeshadow in Continuous Cocoa, Clinique Airbrush Concealer in Neutral/Fair, Stila Smudge Crayon in Smoke, Befine Lip Serum

What do you think of this look? What's your quick everyday go-to?

Happy March!

Hi guys! Hope you had a good week... Mine felt quite busy! In case you missed it, this week I talked about my February hauls, showed you one of my favorite bronzers, and tried to figure out new organization for my alarmingly large lip product collection. (Alarming only to me, my family, and my boyfriend I think. LOL)

Here's what's on my mind - how about you?

Favorite of the Week: Nars Tinted Moisturizer!!

Just Removed: nothing...

Just Applied: I did put on makeup for some events today...! I'm enjoying the look, other than my itchy eyes (I think my mascara must be expired!)

Hauled: Nothing! Decided to save money for gifts & essentials for my boyfriend, though I am sorely tempted by the end of the Neiman Marcus beauty event...

Plotting Purchases: La Mer Lip Balm for sure, with my Saks gift card!

Ha√e a great weekend!

Lipstick Diaries

I have never been a lip product addict. Eyeshadows and eyeliners yes, but lipsticks and gloss have always been on the bottom of the list. But somehow, in the middle of all of this, I've managed to collect 15 lipsticks and numerous glosses. On my beauty inventory spreadsheet, the lip products are #81-143. My first reaction is YIKES though upon closer inspection many of these are from gifts with purchase and combination sets. (PHEW)

And of course, since I didn't specifically purchase many of these, I always forget what I have or even what shades they really are. (Please, if you have any ideas for remembering, let me know! I'm going to try swatches on paper at some point...) I decided that some reorganization was in order to keep my products in view so I would use them more often.

I laid out my small samples, hoping that I could make a dent in some of these. I placed lipsticks in a organizer on my vanity, hoping that their presence would be a constant reminder to put some color on my lips. This week, I'm showing you my attempt at organization, but every week will be another installment on my lipstick adventures. I hope you'll hold me to it! :)

Look at how organized this drawer is now! And look, now I can actually see some things in my Nars product drawer! What do you think??
