Smoky Eyes with NARSissist Eyeshadow Palette

A few weeks back, I posted my March Favorites and a lot of you guys commented that you liked how I did my makeup. (Thank you!)

I don't recall the exact shades I used, but I thought I would share the easy and casual smoky eye in case you would like to try it out for yourself. It is a bit of a darker variation on the one I did previously. Take a peek at the video below and let me know what you think!

And don't worry, more thoughts on the NARSissist Eyeshadow Palette are coming soon. :)

A Quick Everyday Look Featuring Jouer

Press Samples, Affiliate Links

jouer luminizing moisture tint in glow, jouer creme eyeshadow in organza, jouer powder eyeshadow in caviar, jouer mineral bronzer in suntan, jouer moisturizing lipstick in whitney

I'm all about a simple look with as few products as possible, and this selection from Jouer is just perfect for a subtle everyday look. My favorites are the Jouer Mineral Powder Bronzer in Suntan* and Creme Eyeshadow in Organza*, both ones I've talked about before. I am enjoying the Luminizing Moisture Tint in Glow, a product that I've recently rediscovered. I quite like the creamy formula of the Hydrating Lipstick in Whitney*, and I'm curious to explore more of the lip offerings.

The Powder Eyeshadow in Caviar*, while quite pretty, does seem to crease in my monolid area after prolonged wear. I love the color, but I'm not sure that this powder formula is a winner for me. I'll be posting a closer look at both eyeshadows soon, so if you're curious to see close-ups and swatches, do check back in the next week or two.

Take a peek at the video to see how I did the look!

What do you think about these Jouer products? How do you like this everyday look? :)

Get Ready with Me: Summer Bronze!

A few weeks ago, I posted an inspiration photo and my attempt at recreating the look. (Check that post here if you missed it!)  While that attempt was quite natural for everyday wear, I really wanted the look to be more like the editorial photo.

So here is my latest attempt at the look! I think I've done a much better job this time, and I've also included a video of the steps (and products!) it took to get there.

What do you think? How did I do on this bronzey look? Is this a look that you would wear for summer?
