Estee Lauder is a brand that has been around for ages, and their bestseller Advanced Night Repair has always been one of those widely talked about products. I had tried samples of it over the years and not thought too much of it, but I got my own bottle last summer and it has been growing on me ever since.
Estée Lauder 'Advanced Night Repair' Synchronized Recovery Complex II
This no frills serum helps to lock in hydration with hyaluronic acid and the brand's exclusive ChronoluxCB™ Technology, so that your skin can fight the signs of aging and repair environmental damage.
While I can't speak to these claims scientifically, I do find that when I use Advanced Night Repair, my skin doesn't feel dehydrated and that makes me happy. As I'm getting older, my skin is starting to show the results of poor sleep and poor water drinking habits but this serum seems to help keep everything "normal".
I wouldn't say that this is my favorite serum ever (though I couldn't say what is), but I do think this is a very good one that is easily accessible pretty much anywhere in the world. It is not as expensive as something like By Terry or Sisley, which are the other serums currently in my rotation, and while it doesn't give me "wow" results, it does seem to be effective. If you're looking for a serum that gets the job done, then this one is worth trying especially since there are so many size options to choose from!
Estée Lauder 'Advanced Night Repair Eye' Serum Synchronized Complex II
Eye cream is one of those things that's in the back of my mind (unfortunately), so I don't use this or any other eye product very consistently. When I do remember to use it, this eye serum feels light and refreshing and leaves me feeling hydrated. It doesn't interfere with makeup if I use it in the morning either.
With the same ingredients as the Advanced Night Repair Serum, this version is a targeted treatment to fight the signs of aging in the eye area. Fortunately, I don't have many of those signs, but I do feel like this one helps to address them. Maybe it's in my head, but this serum makes me feel like my undereye area is plump (in a good, not sunken in sort of way) and also not as dark.
All in all, I think these have been good everyday products for both day and night. I may not repurchase them since I always get distracted by new products, but I know I will be happy to use both of these while I have them. Have you tried either of these products from Estee Lauder? What did you think of them? I'd love to know!
