You may have noticed I've been missing online lately, and the reason for that is that I'M GETTING MARRIED ON FRIDAY!! A few days ago I realized that while I had been so chill about my makeup, I really had no clue whatsoever what I wanted to wear on my lips. So perhaps one week before is not the best time to test a million lipsticks, but hey, apparently I'm not about to stress over little details.
I'm looking for the perfect pink, a shade that's bright yet subdued, hydrating and a little glossy, and low maintenance to boot. Perhaps that's too much to ask?
At any rate, I have just a handful of days to wear every one of these and pick a winner. Or perhaps I'll have to concoct the perfect lip color from a few of these picks... Right now I'm leaning towards the RMS Beauty Lip Shine in Sublime and the Sisley Phyto-Lip Twist. Stay tuned for more later this week as I reveal my wedding makeup bag and the final look!
What's your favorite springtime pink lip? How did you pick a lip color for your wedding? What have you been up to lately? I'd love to know!

A few years ago, NARS released their Audacious Lipsticks and I finally tried them this past winter. I'm a bit lipstick obsessed, so I suppose I was avoiding these trying not to go crazy buying lipsticks... Yeah, that didn't work even if I managed to avoid these for a year or two!
I can't believe we're 2 weeks into March already, but here I am today with my favorite products from February. Better late than never, right? :) I tried to stick to just 5 products I was reaching for a lot, and I can definitely say I've been enjoying them still this month.
At some point over the last few years, I began hoarding lipstick, which is a particularly weird obsession for someone who doesn't wear lipstick often... At any rate, I thought it would be fun to share the lip products I've been wearing since the year started!
I love a low maintenance lip color, and I think I've just found my two favorite formulas for summer: Givenchy's new Le Rouge-a-Porter line, and the classic Dior Addict Lipstick. The former was an excited duty-free purchase last month, while the latter is a stash rediscovery.

Last year, when I visited the Bite Beauty Lip Lab in NYC, I created my own custom lipstick. (Read about the experience here.) I happened to choose the Creme Deluxe formula, one that was apparently only stocked at their location. Fortunately for us, Liz alerted us to Sephora's new release, the Bite Beauty Limited Release Creme Deluxe Lipstick.

I've been missing out on the matte lip trend, but they just haven't been my thing. My lips are often dry, and so many products can make my lips peel that I've just stayed away, but I couldn't not try these Bite Beauty Matte Creme Lip Crayons when I had the chance!
