As we rang in 2015, I decided that my stash of unused products had to stop growing. You may recall that I challenged myself (here) to use one new thing everyday until February, and I actually did a decent job. Two weeks ago I posted an update (here) with some first impressions, and today I thought I would share the products I used during the latter half of the month.
Clarins, why were these Lip Balm Crayons limited edition?? I got this one, the shade My Pink,, from Gummy's blog sale, and it is just an awesome shade of pretty pink.
Ahhh. The Shu Uemura Art of Hair Cleansing Oil Shampoo* is just the most luxurious thing that you could ever put in your hair. Well, maybe I exaggerate, but this shampoo just makes my hair look good and feel clean. I also enjoy the refreshing scent of Lush So White Shower Gel. (Fun fact, the So White Bathbomb kicked off my addiction with Lush!)
Kate Somerville is a brand I always wanted to try more of, and I finally bought the Now You See It, Now You Don't kit, hoping that D-Scar and Eradikate would help me get rid of some pesky blemishes and scars. I haven't used D-Scar much yet, but I can definitely say that Eradikate made a huge difference on the blemishes I was battling.
Another product I've used here and there is the Odacite Acai + Rose Serum Concentrate. Add a few drops to any moisturizer to kick up hydration - I think I will love it!
I've already talked about my excitement for Omorovicza products (here), so I won't go through my raves again. The ThisWorks Deep Sleep Night OIl is nice to use, though not similar to the Pillow Spray in scent. Ren's 1 Minute Flash Facial* is a fun little scrubby mask that seems to brighten the skin!
In December, I picked up a sample size of the Korres Wild Rose Sleeping Facial, a decent overnight hydration mask. I don't love the scent, but the product seems to do its job. And who can say no to the creamy Pomegranate shade of Bite Beauty lip pencils?
Last but not least, I've been enjoying my blowpro Dry Shampoo, and have been playing around with their Dry Texture Spray. I also really enjoyed my first application of Laura Mercier Paint Wash Lip Color in Nude Rose, a non-drying liquid lipstick formula that is new for spring. And I have a horrible fear of falling in love with this Sisley Paris Black Rose Cream Mask, a hydrating mask that leaves my skin glowing and even toned. (*cries*)
With a total of 28 new-to-me products tried out, I can safely say that this is one beauty challenge that I've actually somewhat accomplished. I will definitely be trying it again sometime! What new to you items have you been using lately? Have you found any new favorite? I'd love to know! :)
