Over the last year, one of my favorite products has been the Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask, despite my issues with the original packaging. When they repackaged the product, I was excited, and when they released the sparkling pink Champagne shade, I was even more thrilled. This year, as soon as I saw the Smashed shade on sephora.com, I was ready to hit checkout.
Much like the original (review here), this tinted lip mask is thick in texture and very faintly vanilla scented. The formula itself stays on through the night, or for several hours during the day. Not only does it keep my lips moisturized and protected from the elements, but it somehow manages to repair and smooth the dry, peely bits that plague me year round.

Color wise, I know a number of reviews have noted that this shade is quite sheer. To me, this is a lip balm first and any color it provides is just an added bonus. I do think it provides a pretty pop of color on my lips, considering the tiny amount of product you need to use. Plus, I appreciate that I don't have to worry about it like I would a lipstick!
