My empties bag was overflowing, and I realized it was about time I shared all the products I've used up over the last few months, since September. I'm actually quite excited at how well I've done!
I was quite happy to finish a few shower items, and I'm sad to report that I finally finished the Shu Uemura Art of Hair Cleansing Oil Shampoo*. I seriously love that stuff, but can't bring myself to spend the money on it especially with a number of other shampoos in my collection at the moment. I didn't really care for the Sachajuan Scalp Shampoo, and actually managed to spill half of it on the bathroom floor one day... Oops!
I wouldn't repurchase the Whole 365 Citrus Shower Gel or the Neutrogena Rainbath either. Both were fine to use, but nothing terribly exciting or interesting in my book.
On the skincare front, I apparently finished quite a bit! Yay! The First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream and Koh Gen Do Cleansing Spa Water are products I've repurchased again and again, and still am using at the moment. The Ultra Repair Cream is particularly fantastic for sensitive or irritated winter skin, and I frequently use the Koh Gen Do for makeup remover!
I loved using the African Botanics Neroli Infused Marula Oil, a fantastic and healing oil that calms the face and body. I just can't say enough about the brand, and find the Neroli version of their oil to be more hydrating than the regular version. I've also been loving the Nude Skincare Omega Cleansing Jelly this fall, and my suspicions regarding the tube in my review (here) proved to be true - it was quite impossible to squeeze in the last week or so!
I'll have to note that my husband really helped me use up moisturizers these last few months. He was a particular fan of the Belif True Cream Aqua Bomb*, (review here) as well as the Clinique Moisture Surge, both of which are gel-like in texture and very refreshing on the skin. I was quite surprised at how well I liked both of them as well, and while they aren't my absolute favorite to buy for myself, I would definitely recommend them to others, and certainly buy them myself if I was looking for a more wallet friendly option. (I think my skincare addiction is getting out of hand...)
I also had to toss two lash products, the Chantecaille Supreme Cils Mascara and Lashfood Phytomedic Eyelash Enhancer, both of which I think worked quite well. I absolutely LOVED the Chantecaille mascara, which gave my lashes great length and thickness and didn't flake or smudge. Actually, I wore this mascara at my wedding and would most definitely purchase it again once I use up the Chantecaille Faux Lash Longest Lash that I purchased this time around. Sadly, I didn't keep up with using the Lashfood serum, but I did see results with it.
I also finished a bag of Shiseido Facial Cottons (so heavenly, and already repurchased!) and a pack of cottons I purchased on my honeymoon in Thailand. I also really enjoyed the Nude Skincare Omega Treatment Milk, and the Ren Moroccan Rose Bath Oil (review), both of which have been waiting in my shopping cart since.
I found this empty sample of Replica Lazy Sunday Morning, which I'm still not quite sure about. I love the concept of this range, but the fragrances haven't really drawn me in just yet. It's been two years of me periodically testing this and other scents from the range, so we'll see where I end up... LOL!
Last but not least, I used up a sample of Estee Lauder Micro Essence, an activating toner that really helps product absorb into the skin. I don't know if I would buy it, but the sample was nice and I would definitely try it again. Oh, and not pictured is Rituals Honey Touch Body Cream*, which I enjoyed the texture of but really didn't care for the scent.
Finally, fall is the perfect time for candles (yum) and I finished quite a few in my collection. I enjoyed Fresh Balsam from Bath & Body Works, but if I were to buy another pine candle, I would probably go for Diptyque or some other brand.
I want to try more scents from Malin+Goetz (review) and Found Goods Market (review), as both candles were lovely. My husband in particular really liked Found Goods Market Mahogany, and I'm curious about what the rest of the Malin+Goetz range smells like!
I've also frequently repurchased the Capri Blue Volcano candle (review), a constant favorite for many years. It is actually the scent that Anthropologie stores most often smell like, and the brand seems to be available more widely too!
What products have you finished lately? Have you tried any of these? I'd love to know!
