I've always liked the L'Oreal Infallible eyeshadow line, so when I spotted this shade from the holiday collection, I jumped to purchase it. While it might not be your usual gold themed holiday eyeshadow, this pinky-peach champagne shade will be a perfect complement to your holiday looks. In general, I don't have as much success with the lighter shades in the range as I do with shades like Bronzed Taupe. Not sure why - maybe it is just me? I didn't love Iced Latte, although I really wanted to. In any event, this applies sheerly with my fingers and the larger, rounded shadow brush from the Real Techniques Starter Kit. Pretty, isn't it? I just can't get it to apply this way on my eyes though, with my fingers or the previously mentioned brush. GRRR! With some of the other shades in the line, one swipe with my finger can give me very even, pigmented color similar to what you see in the photo. This one, however, becomes just a sheer shimmer when I apply it! I need and want to find a way for this to show up, so any suggestions for techniques or brushes are much appreciated!
As it is, my sheer application lasts only 4-5 hours before it fades away. Sad, as the color could be so pretty!
What do you think of this L'Oreal Infallible eyeshadow? Am I doing something wrong? Help! :)
