I love Lush products, and I always love beauty that is intended to support a great cause, so when I heard about Lush FUN, I was SO excited to try it and tell you all about it. These yummy scented 4-in-1 bath products arrived in nicely rolled packages that looked like candy, so that was fun in itself! (I was also happy to discover that the plastic used is also compostable - how cool!)
I love that 2.5% of sales of FUN worldwide will go towards children's recreation around the world. The FunD is currently supporting children impacted by last year's disasters in Japan. How great is that? :)
FUN is 100% vegan and comes in a variety of colors - yellow, green, blue, red, and pink! I received green and pink, and I am happy to report that the green smells just like the Calacas Shower Jelly from the Halloween collection! It is just a great lime citrus scent that really perks up a morning shower. (If you missed my previous post of the shower jelly, my boyfriend and I described it as a Sprite gummy bear, LOL!) The pink shade is described as an ice cream scented tonka, and while I am terrible at describing scents, I do like the depth it has. A little sweet, a bit floral. Fun for me!
The texture of FUN reminds me of Play Doh, except a bit more crumbly. It is super easy to break off a chunk for the shower! Here's another look, so you can see how it breaks off. (P.S. If you have this, how are you storing this??)While I've been playing with Lush FUN, I've discovered that I really am not an artist. I attempted to sculpt cute things, and even my boyfriend was ambitious in wanting to sculpt a dinosaur or a frog... Yes I suppose I could have gotten tools, but I didn't want to waste even a crumb!
Look! He's so cute! What do you think he is? I sure don't know!
Anyways, please visit Jessica (Getting Cheeky) and Dovey (Cute & Mundane) for their wonderful sculptures and tips! Mine can not even compare! Even Jessica's toddler tester is far more talented than I! :)
I've only been using it as soap so far, and it is quite amusing (FUN!) to cover ourselves in pink or green suds. It lathers well, and feels clean. YAY! I also made a bunch of little pink hearts that I want to throw in a bath, but I just haven't had time for more than a 10 minute bath lately. So sad! I also want to try it in my hair, but I am so close to finishing a shampoo! When I do try it more in the bath and on my hair, I will definitely let you know! :)
Lush FUN was available in stores starting last Thursday, November 1st. What do you think of FUN? Will you pick it up for the holidays?
