Lush Dragon's Egg Bath Bomb

A few weeks ago, I was near a Lush store and really thought I could use a bath bomb. I wanted to pick one I never tried, so I decided on this fizzy citrus concoction, Lush Dragon's Egg.

On the outside, it is white with a few pastels sprinkled in. Once you get to the inside however, the fizz emerges along with a fine glitter. Pretty, though I suppose it would make more sense if I did something after a bath besides go to sleep, haha!

I'm also a fan of the lemon and bergamot scent, which really makes the bath refreshing. The scent has a bit of candy sweetness, which reminds me a bit of my favorite bath bomb, the lightly moisturizing Avobath, which always makes me think of Pez candy... All in all, I'm a fan! Now to try all the other bath bombs...

What do you think of Lush Dragon's Egg? Have you tried this or any other bath bomb? I'd love to know!

What I Wore, #19

I managed to wear makeup a few days this week, though I never managed to take pictures daily of the products or looks... That can be a goal for this coming week, right?

My focus this week was testing out a few new to me products, namely the Tom Ford She Wolf Eyeshadow Trio, Chantecaille Sel, and Nars Radiant Cream Foundation which I reviewed here mid-week.

Posts This Week:  August Beauty Favorites // This Week's Makeup Bag, #15 // Love It or Toss It, #2 // A Jouer Eyeshadow Pairing // On the Fence: Nars Radiant Cream Foundation // I ♥ Tatcha Pure One Step Cleansing Oil // The Accessory: Ariella Collection // New! Koh Gen Do Aqua Foundation & Illuminator

Products I Loved: I randomly rediscovered my Benefit Eye Bright, and I just love how it brightens the droopy corners of my eyes. I definitely need to use this more often. I want to say I'm in love with Tom Ford She Wolf, but I really want to test it out more before I rave about it and make you all run out and buy a very pricy eyeshadow trio! :-P

Product Disappointments: I was quite sad to discover I didn't like the Laura Mercier Radiance Primer, and in the end I decided to return the Nars Radiant Cream Foundation. If it is not absolute love, why keep it, right??

Beauty Purchases: I'm scared to admit... but the Space NK gift with purchase sucked me in. I ordered the Sai Sei Mineral Bath Crystals, By Terry Ombre Blackstar in Bronze Moon, and the Laura Mercier Cream Eyeshadow Detail Brush.  Thankfully, Gummy and I decided to split the GWP, so I didn't let myself go crazy with my wishlist. I also picked up a Nails Inc Gel Polish and Bite Lip Primer... Can't wait for the mail to arrive!

Added to the Wishlist: I'm really liking the look of those Koh Gen Do Aqua Illuminators, in particular the beige one. I also want to swatch just about ALL of the Armani Rouge Ecstasy lipsticks...!

So there's my week in beauty for you - what have you been up to? Any product loves or disappointments? Have you bought anything fun or added anything lust-worthy to your wishlist?

New! Koh Gen Do Aqua Foundation & Illuminator

Koh Gen Do Aqua Foundation may just be one of my favorite products ever, and when I heard last month that they were releasing a newly reformulated Aqua Foundation and Aqua Foundation Illuminator, I was excited.

Released at the end of August, the new foundation and illuminator sound better than ever. Don't despair though, the old formulas are currently still available for a limited time at Sephora and Barney's if you need to stock up.

Anyway, I was able to get some information on the new formulas just before the launch... and then I failed to post them. Oops! Lots of information is available on Koh Gen Do's site (unaffiliated link), and there are some neat looking value sets of the new products too!

Most exciting of all is the updated shade range! From what I can tell, there are definitely more shades available in the light to medium range. I am sure some of you are clapping, as I've been told many of you mix two shades to get your perfect match. Maybe this time around, there will be one perfect shade for you! :) Additionally, the OC-2 equivalent is not yet out, and is expected to be available in late October, so don't despair!

I can't wait to check out the Aqua Foundation, and I'm quite interested to see how the Aqua Illuminator in Sheer Beige looks in person.  What do you think? Will you be picking up the new Aqua Foundation or Illuminator? I'd love to know!

The Accessory: Ariella Collection Rings

Earlier this summer, I was wandering around Nordstrom when I discovered the Ariella Collection. I found this set of 3 stackable rings in the sale section, and I knew that I had to hunt down my size. I love the little rhinestones, and the fact that I can wear them separate or together. Plus, the middle one is a bow - how could I not love that!

There isn't much available from the brand on Nordstrom's site right now, but it is pretty affordable and I'm definitely keeping my eye out.

Have you tried any jewelry from Ariella Collection? Where is your favorite place to shop for jewelry? I'd love to know, cause of course I always want more shiny sparkly things! :)
