The Makeup I Actually Wore

I don't know about you, but I cannot pack a minimal makeup bag if I'm away from home for more than a few days. A girl has to have options, right?! I spent about 9 days in Europe recently, and I packed a HUGE makeup bag. (Seriously, did I need 5+ lipsticks? Clearly not!) When I got home I realized I stuck to a handful of products and I thought it would interesting to share what I actually used!

The Weekend Makeup Bag

We headed up to Michigan for the 4th of July weekend, and I thought I'd share the makeup bag I packed. I'm not sure why I packed a makeup bag even, since most often I wear no makeup when traveling or spending time with family, which becomes even more true in the summertime. LOL! Perhaps this has helped me though, as this is probably the smallest makeup bag I've packed in quite some time!

Beauty (Over)packing Woes

As a habitual over-packer, I would say I've made quite a lot of progress in the last few years and mostly recovered. Mostly. The one caveat being that I just can't seem to limit my makeup and skincare quite as well as the rest! As I was preparing for my recent trips, I had a thought - perhaps I could pack all my skincare & bath & body in sample packets!
