There's some things you just can't help but rave about and these two products from Marc Jacobs are definitely on that list. I don't know how I've lived so long without these, but they have been the perfect accompaniments to my favorite (and not so favorite!) foundations.
Winter finally hit us, and my skin has been feeling and looking kind of blah. I picked up a sample of the Under(cover) Perfecting Coconut Face Primer at the beginning of January and immediately fell in love. Foundations that I didn't love the finish of suddenly looked awesome again, in particular Armani Luminous Silk which I tend to only "love" when my skin is really good. I also love using this with Estee Lauder Double Wear, which has amazing coverage but occasionally irritates my skin and doesn't quite have the skin-like finish i prefer. This primer solves both of those issues! YAY!
I hate to admit how long I've had The Face II Sculpting Foundation Brush, which I must have bought at least 2 years ago and finally used more this month. It is a super dense, super soft brush that is reminiscent of the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush, but larger and denser. This brush does a fantastic job applying foundation quickly, and it does so very evenly and with a lovely, natural finish. I'm loving it as much as my Beautyblender, to be honest!!
Between the primer and the brush, I'm in love with applying foundation again. Have you tried either of these products from Marc Jacobs? Do you have a favorite primer or brush that changed foundation application for you? I'd love to know! :)
