I've been on a green skincare kick lately, and this serum from Kahina Giving Beauty has been such a staple these last few months. I had never tried the brand before purchasing one of the A Night for Green Beauty x Goodebox collaborations at the beginning of the summer, and all I can say is that I wished I purchased every one of their boxes!
Kahina Giving Beauty is a brand I've always been curious about, and I have to say that I wish I tried it sooner. I also never realized that the brand itself donates money to the women who source their raw ingredients!
This serum is actually an oil, and it is contained in a lovely glass or ceramic bottle with a dropper. The scent is a very herbal lavender, and while I don't usually care for lavender, I find this blend quite calming and soothing.
The first time I used this serum, I was really impressed with how smooth it felt as I was applying it. I don't know how to explain it, but it just feels SOFT. I love how it feels on the skin, and it really hydrates. Kahina says that this serum is meant to prevent moisture loss, and it really does. I've been using this without any additional product, and my often dehydrated skin has been fine, both at home and in drier California air.
All in all, I've really been loving serum. It is totally up there with the Pai Rosehip REgenerate Oil and my favorites from African Botanics. (Seriously!) I'll be ordering a sample pack of their product line once I've finished up more skincare. Have you tried anything from Kahina Giving Beauty?
