Last year, I totally fell in love with the Armani Waterproof Smooth Silk Eyeliners, also sometimes know as the Eyes to Kill Eyeliners. I seriously just loved them, but found that they occasionally irritated my eyes and made them itchy and watery. These days, my eyes seem to have recovered from that sensitivity, and I just have to tell you again how amazing these liners are.
Initially, I was drawn to these liners because of just how BLACK they are. Seriously, I think this is the blackest pencil eyeliner I've come across, and the brown is nearly black too. Check out the swatches below, and I think you'll see what I mean.

The black is just a great blue-based black shade, and to this day, I still can't get over how pretty that brown is! It has just a tiny bit of nearly imperceptible shimmer too, and I think it makes for a great daytime liner.
When it comes to pencil liners, these guys are the creamiest of the ones I've tried. They're probably just as creamy, if not more so, than the Urban Decay 24/7 liners that are so popular but smudge like crazy on me. These, on the other hand, wear incredibly well on my Asian eyes.
If I use this to tightline, it just doesn't go away. No joke - I've often discovered more liner the next morning because I often don't do a good job removing eye makeup late at night. (Oops!) On my hooded monolid area, this liner wears all day though may occasionally crease slightly if I've used oils in my skincare that day and forgotten to use eye primer. If I do use primer, it tends to wear all day with no issues.
I also wanted to show you guys what the liner swatches above look like after some very aggressive swipes of a napkin. In my opinion, that holds up REALLY well, since a few swipes erases most liners out there!
While I've started to get into liquid liners this year, this Armani pencil (tied with Nars Larger than Life Eyeliner) is my absolute favorite when it comes to pencils.
Have you tried this eyeliner from Armani? How did it work out for you? What is your favorite eyeliner? I'd love to know! :)
