Yes, I was on a no buy this month... I lost my resolve a few days! But if I do say so myself, it wasn't so bad!
I went to Sephora to make some returns one day and was excited to pick up the Too Faced Natural Face Radiance Palette and Stila Smudge Crayon. So far, I'm really enjoying both products. (My return would have gone back on a gift card, so I say this doesn't count against my no buy!)
I also stopped by CVS and picked up Milani Bronzer in Medium and Milani HD Concealer in Medium which were both on sale and surprised me with how well they worked on me. Revlon Lip Butters were BOGO 50% so I picked up Raspberry Pie & Berry Smoothie! I also grabbed a Wet n' Wild pencil to try on my brows on another CVS trip.
I bought the Sephora OPI To the Glitter End polish while making returns, and picked up Zoya Gem & Kelly during their promo for free polish earlier in the month.
Last week I used my Sephora gift card and picked up these two items that just arrived in the mail (sorry I haven't had a chance to photograph them yet!) Let me just say, the Nails Inc. Fashion's Night Out polish is a gorgeous navy/silver metallic shade that goes on SO well. (Nails Inc was my favorite polish of 2011 by far!) I also picked up this Edward Bess Quad Royale, in Monte Carlo, which is a nice highlighting kit that may pass for blush too - I look forward to testing it out more.
ANYWAY! Here's the summary of my purchases...
Total: Zoya Nail Polish - $6.95 for shipping (also before I started my no buy) Sephora In Store Purchases - Return credit CVS - $12 after coupons, etc Sephora Online Order - $11.61 after gift card Maybelline Color Tattoo - $6 at Walmart
GRAND TOTAL: $36.56
Overall, 3-4 days and about $36 is not a huge violation of no buy in my book! What do you guys think?
