This Week's Makeup Bag, #12

I've finally organized all my stuff laying around and picked out a handful of items for this week's makeup bag. YAY. This week, it is all about creams. I've selected a Jouer Cream Eyeshadow in Chiffon*, Stila Convertible Color in Sweet Pea, and Benefit Creaseless Cream Eyeshadow in Holy Smokes! I'm quite excited to use all these goodies this week. 

I also pulled out this cute bag from Gap. I bought it ages ago on sale - I think I was in high school! I love that it has a little zipper compartment, and underneath that it actually has slots for pencils or brushes! I love this bag, and I totally use it all the time. Sometimes I even use it as a clutch. :) Anyway, what makeup will you be sporting this week? I'd love to know! :)

This Week's Makeup Bag, #9

I'm a bit late on this week's picks, but here they are. I decided to dig up an old favorite, Chanel Ombre Perlees eyeshadow palette from a few years ago. I haven't used it in ages (aside from when I pulled it out yesterday) so I'm excited to give it a go again. I'm also not sure what to think about Guerlain Terracotta Healthy Skin Foundation, which appears to be more of a bronze-y primer more than anything, but I need to test it some more! Same thing with Becca The Ultimate Mascara, which is quite a nice fiber mascara but not as curling as Fairydrops or Diorshow Iconic Overcurl. Two new additions to my collection are Nars Eyeshadow in Blondie and Stila Convertible Color in Sweet Pea, both of which I'm excited to try.

So there you have it! Maybe I'll carry over this rotation to next week too, but we'll see how they go! What makeup are you using this week? Have you rediscovered any old favorites?? :)

Sorry for the delay, but here are this week's makeup picks! As I'm so late in the week, and I have today and tomorrow off to be snowed in, I don't have high hopes for using all of the products in this week's selection. Wish me luck! :)

This Week's Makeup Bag, #7

I'm a bit late again on the weekly makeup bag, but here are my picks for the week! I'm focusing on skin and eyes this time around, and keeping all the pretties in a hot pink YSL bag from a spring gift set a few years ago.

Koh Gen Do Moisture Foundation, Fresh Umbrian Clay Concealer, Diorshow Maximizer, Diorshow Overcurl, Stila Smudge Crayon, Benefit Eye Bright, Bobbi Brown Long Wear Eye Pencil, Clinique Superfine Liner for Brows

I'm really excited to use my new Koh Gen Do Moisture Foundation, and I'll be covering up a few leftover spots with Fresh Umbrian Clay Concealer. For lashes, I won't go without Diorshow Maximizer, and I'll be topping it off with Diorshow Overcurl. For brows, I 'll try to keep up with filling them in with Clinique Superfine Liner for Brows. On the eyes, I'll tightline with Bobbi Brown Long Wear Eye Liner in Black Plum, dab on some Stila Smudge Crayon in Smoke, and brighten my eyes with Benefit Eye Bright!
