Brighten Your Lips & Cheeks with Jouer Tint!

I love multipurpose cream products, so when I discovered these Jouer Tints, I was DYING to try them. Lucky for me, Jouer sent me 4 shades out of the 11 available to try! Wohoo!

Paraben free and reasonably priced, these Jouer Tints are just as dreamy as the Creme Eyeshadows and Mineral Powder Bronzer. They are in the standard Jouer packaging that is easy and fun to connect together. (A reader commented that it is like beauty Legos, and I daresay I have to agree!)

I have no complaints about the packaging, and in particular I like this square format far more than a small jar that is typical of most cream products. This packaging is much easier to get your fingers (or a wider range of brushes) into! The only possible complaint I could ever have would be that the compacts between the tints, highlighters, and eyeshadows are the same size and shape, so if you have multiple of each hanging out in a drawer, it may be hard to distinguish them. But really, it seems that Jouer has thought of this too, as each product has a handy label like "tint" and "eyes" to help you stay organized!

Dahlia is a gorgeous shade for lips, and is quite pigmented in my opinion. I was a bit scared of the shade at first, but it really turned out to be the most perfect berry tint. I've always had this image of a fair brunette with a deep berry shade in my head as inspiration (do you guys know what I mean!?), and this is seriously the perfect shade for that look. It lasted about 4 hours on  my lips before it began to fade/was destroyed by a massive meal, haha. I love that it didn't transfer much, if at all, onto my cups, and it also was not drying for my lips. (My lips are quite dry, so anything that maintains the level of moisture I start out with in a day is good in my book - this definitely fits the bill!)

I find that all of the shades are just gorgeous on cheeks too, and they seem to last at least 6 hours before some fading. However, I do apply these very lightly and I never powder, so if you apply less sheerly than I do and use powder, I bet they'd last all day. Whisper reminds me a bit of Nars Orgasm, and I was surprised how much I loved how Orchid looks on my cheeks. It even managed to coordinate naturally with Dahlia on my lips! And Bare is just a really pretty, non-shimmery pale pink! :)

They are all just so PRETTY! I would definitely pick up more shades in the future, but it seems like I'd be hard pressed to pick only one shade! What do you think of these Jouer Tints? Are you anxious to try them like I was? :)

I ♥ Jouer Creme Eyeshadow

I LOVE this eyeshadow. I really do. As you might know, I am a big fan of cream products in general, and I love trying different cream eyeshadow formulas. These shadows from Jouer are definitely my favorite ones I've tried so far! I love Jouer's packaging design - the compacts themselves click together, so you can create a nice palette of sorts to take with you on the go. (I will definitely share one in the near future, of a few favorites!) I also love this square compact packaging just for the sheer fact that it makes applying with my fingers easy. It can be such a pain to stick your fingers into pots and get eyeshadow in your nails, so this just makes my life easier. YAY!

Jouer Creme Eyeshadow comes in 5 shades, and I was lucky to be sent 4 of them. The shades I received are Suede, Chiffon, Organza, and Cashmere, and they are all SO gorgeous.

For everyday wear, Suede & Chiffon make a gorgeous pair. At first, I thought Suede would be too warm, but the color does provide really pretty definition and seems to be just right! With a bit of Chiffon on top, it is even prettier!

I love the purple, silvery taupe shade of Organza. This is a shade that I'm always looking for, and I have to say that this works SO well with my skintone. Cashmere is also pretty, and has such gorgeous shine. Actually, these are all so pretty and I really don't know what else to say! LOL!

Edit: They are also paraben free! Exciting!

On me, I can wear this for about 6 hours with very minimal creasing in my monolid area, but just about everything experiences minor creasing in this area at this point in my day. Usually on the main part of my lids, I can make it a few hours longer before the color starts to fade. I imagine with primer, this would last even longer!

All in all, these are my new favorite cream eyeshadows. I almost love them as much as Burberry powder eyeshadows! :) The fine shimmer in these Jouer shadows is very natural looking just like Burberry shadows are. I'm in love! ♥

I'm Falling For Jouer Mineral Bronzer in Suntan ♥

You know I'm a bronzer fanatic, and I am seriously loving this Jouer bronzer right now. It has definitely made it into my top 5!

Formulated with Japanese Green Tea Powder and Vitamins C&E, this oil-free and paraben free bronzer sounds to me like just the perfect product for a skin conscious bronzer enthusiast!  

I love the sleek rectangular packaging of this bronzer as well, and if you see the little notches on the side, this allows you to connect any Jouer compacts together for a quick travel kit! I love that, and it is a super easy way to keep a few must have products together in your purse or travel bag.

This powder is SO finely milled, which I really love in a bronzer. I also love the matte honey shade that suits my skintone perfectly! Using my trusty Trish McEvoy blush brush, I can give myself some targeted color along my cheekbones that provides a really nice, natural contour. With a fluffier brush, I get the effect of a healthy and tan glow. Check out the swatch below! This lasts on me all day (9+ hours) with little to no fading, but I tend to rest my hands on my face and whatnot throughout the day. (I know, it is terribly germy sounding, don't scold me! :)) I think this bronzer is a must have for anyone that is new to makeup or hesitant about trying bronzer, and at $28 a pop, it is relatively affordable in comparison to higher end options like Guerlain.

I've completely fallen for this bronzer, and am loving the other items I'm playing with from Jouer. I can't wait to show you gorgeous cream eyeshadows, tints, and highlighters! Impulse Buy: tarte emphasEYES inner rim brightener

When I was at Sephora last week, I suddenly felt the need to find a nude eyeliner. Maybe it was because of everything I keep hearing from the British bloggers about Rimmel's Scandaleyes Liner in Nude... But that product doesn't seem to exist here so I grabbed Tarte Emphaseyes to try instead!

Until I started writing this review, I never realized how little of Tarte's product line is capitalized... Very interesting.... Anyway! This peach toned liner is quite smooth and creamy. The color is quite bright, especially compared to Nars Larger than Life in Rue Bonaparte. I can't think of the last time I tried to use a liner for this purpose, but the creaminess of this made it really easy to apply to my waterline and lash line. I'm not sure how the liner would sharpen and I imagine a finer point would be best for applying in the waterline, though. This does look nice when applied, but so far, it doesn't seem to stay. Every time I've looked in the mirror, it just is gone!

Bummer! I'm going to return this and try something else. :/ What do you think of this inner rim brightener? Is there a product you'd recommend for this that I need to try? :)
