On Instagram Lately

Since I haven't been wearing much makeup (or even keeping up with what I have been wearing!) I thought I would give you a peek at what I've been up to lately.

I've been trying to instagram more and I thought I would share a brief look at my last two weeks. Some highlights were the Stinking Rose restaurant in San Francisco, a HUGE pile of samples from my adventure at Space NK in the Marin Country Mart, and lots of food and shopping!

This Week & Lush Haircare Preview

Hey guys! Hope you're having a good weekend so far! I am SO tired. Can't wait to have some days to relax!

Favorites of the Week: I am definitely having fun playing around with all my new products. Loving Becca Beach Tints and Origins Make a Difference Plus Moisturizer. Limited Buy Status: I was doing sort of ok, despite all my purchases, but I splurged on some Burberry to grab a gift with purchase. I ordered it last night so I can't wait to get it!

In other news, I am so excited to show you all some new Lush haircare goodies that will be released on Black Friday. :)

Roots* and Superbalm* are both for fine hair and troublesome scalps. I think they are the perfect products for winter!

This Week, 11/10

You guys! I just realized that Thanksgiving is in a week and a half! SCARY! Also, my little brother turns 16 on Wednesday, which will also be my blog's 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY! Crazy. Not to mention that before we know it, it'll be December and almost the end of 2012! All of it is just too crazy! Favorites of the Week: Haven't been able to wear much makeup, since I've mostly just been oversleeping. Haha. I did feel impressed by a sample of Bobbi Brown Long Wear Even Finish Foundation, which I ended up buying. I also threw on CoverGirl Lip Perfection Lipstick in Spellbound today, and was impressed too! Also, a non-beauty favorite is the Philips HUE. You guys have to see this. Seriously. You have these LED lightbulbs and you can make them ANY color (on an RGB spectrum, or from a photo, or from preset scenes) AND you control them from your phone. Amazing. ALSO i discovered light settings that I think will be good for blog photos! :)

Limited Buy Status: I did end up buying the Tom Ford Lip set I was moaning over last weekend, but I did manage to fit that into some of the overall spending budgets this month. At the list minute, I also threw in the lipstick in Aphrodisiac, which I had been wanting. I also spent far too much time freaking out (also not sleeping) over the Sephora VIB sale this week, and I can't really think about whether or not I stayed within possible budgets there. All I know is, I spent money, and it is really close, and I'm scared. Haha. Also, I want to buy more, which is extra scary.

This Week, 10/27

Happy Saturday! I feel like so much is happening! The boyfriend got a job offer yesterday, so fingers crossed that all works out as expected! It is also my boyfriend's birthday today, woohoo! (So this is a weekend of eating out and getting a lot of delicious take out, LOL!) I saw Cloud Atlas last night, and that was fun. We'll probably see Skyfall and The Hobbit when those come out too. Have you seen any good movies lately?

In beauty news, I got my package from Sephora on Tuesday! I wasn't tempted to keep the gift items I ordered either! Haha.I am loving this look too, as well as this look that Arianne created inspired by Victoria's Secret. What are your current beauty inspirations?

And look! My Lush FUN arrived too! Can't wait to try it!

Favorites of the Week: Had fun playing with the Becca goodies and Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Liner! Limited Buy Status: Doing pretty good, BUT now I want to mix and match brushes from the Real Techniques kits that I bought, one of which is supposed to be a gift! Do you think this is a good idea? :)

Over in technology land, I am enjoying my new Nike+ Fuelband, which is confirming how lazy I am but surprising me with how many steps I take on a regular day... I'm also loving the game Letterpress (let's play! Find me on Game Center, littlerain24) and the camera app Vintique, which is really well done and currently free. Anywho, I'd love to hear your thoughts! Movies? Beauty inspirations? Current favorites? What are your thoughts on mix & matching products from value sets for a gift box? Any technology obsessions?
