Terribly Dry Skin? Try Amlactin!

I don't know about you, but after a long winter, my legs are never looking good. This particular winter left my legs feeling dry, scaly, and itchy. Yuck.

I have pretty bad moisturizing habits, so I'm always looking for products that deliver results.

Amlactin Ultra Hydrating Body Cream review, Amlactin Moisturizing Body Lotion Review, Amlactin Cerapeutic Restoring Body Lotion review, Amlactin Foot Cream Review

The Amlactin product line is formulated with AHAs to lightly exfoliate and make skin smooth. Amlactin's site even mentions that their products are useful in combating keratosis pilaris, so that might be good to know too.

I'm hard pressed to pick my favorite in the lineup - they all work well in calming itchy skin, which is such a relief, and the Foot Cream does really well to smooth out my dry heels. I found the scent of the Foot Cream and Ultra Hydrating Body Cream to be particularly strong compared to the others, and not totally pleasant. I can't explain the scent, but given their effectiveness and $10-16 price point, it is worth trying if you have extremely dry skin.

My favorites of the bunch were the Moisturizing Body Lotion and Cerapeutic Restoring Body Lotion. Containing 12% lactic acid, the Moisturizing Body Lotion does well to clear up any ashy/scaly areas within a few uses, which is perfect for dry knees and elbows too, while Amlactin Cerapeutic really helps to calm and hold moisture in!

Has your skin recovered from winter yet? What are your favorite products to use once the weather gets warmer? I'd love to know?
