Every summer, I love trying new bronzers and self tan products. I generally don't spend much time outside, and when I do I try to be careful about sunscreen, so bronzers and self tanners are always fun for me. Winter was long this year and spring has been quite dreary, so I haven't had much sun yet!
Enter Vita Liberata. This brand launched at Sephora here in the US not too many years ago, with their popular pHenomenal 2-3 Week Tan. (Which, by the way, I've been meaning to try for ages, sheesh!) What makes the brand particularly unique is that their products do not contain parabens, alcohol, or artificial fragrance, something I didn't even realize until recently. What I'm super excited to share today, however, are two unique releases from the brand that I think are pretty cool!
Self Tanning Night Moisture Mask
I'm all about overnight moisture masks, so when I heard that they were coming out with a self tanning mask, I was immediately sold. I'm super excited that it doesn't smell strongly like a stereotypical self tanner, and while it does have a bit of that scent, I think it is completely pleasant and not annoying to me at all while it is on my face.
According to Vita Liberata, their "HyH2O technology delivers a stunning natural glow by morning, along with intense hydration, overnight rejuvenation and anti age benefits, all in a rich and silky formulation that will leave skin feeling plump, soft and supple with a youthful, balanced radiance everyday." That's a mouthful, but I do think the mask delivers on a really pretty, natural glow. I also feel like that this can be a skincare item for some, but this was just slightly less moisturizing than my sometimes dry/irritated skin needs right now.
Trystal Minerals Self Tanning Bronzing Minerals
I'm generally too lazy to deal with loose powders, but there is something so great about this one. Their Trystal technology "combines instant pure mineral bronzing with lasting gradual tan results." The "unique formula interacts with your moisturizer or liquid foundation base to tan the skin." Um, how amazing is that???
Product marketing aside, It seriously gives my skin an awesome warm glow, and I've been reaching for this one a lot. It even comes with a great little pointed Kabuki brush that works well to apply the product in the hollows of the cheekbone.
All in all, I'm loving both of these products and am excited to use them this summer. Have you tried these or any other products from Vita Liberata? What are your favorite products for a summer glow? I'd love to know!
