You're all probably aware of how much I love bronzer - after all, my blog is named after it! While I enjoy a good powder bronzer, I'm always very interested in trying cream versions. So as you can imagine, I definitely jumped when I had the opportunity to try Tata Harper's Matte Bronzer and Highlighter in this adorable kit.
I don't know what's taken me so long to talk about it, but perhaps I can blame the gorgeous packaging for preventing me from opening this for so long. :-P Well, perhaps not, but I do wish I had opened it up sooner, as both of these products are quite lovely.
The packaging of these are quite luxurious - I love the frosted glass of all her products, and the metal lid pairs well with it. I initially worried about breaking them if I were to throw them in a makeup bag, but they have been just fine so far, though I did manage to dent a lid!
Both the Very Illuminating Highlighter and Very Bronzing Bronzer are very creamy, and I love that neither have discernible shimmer. They both look very glowy on the skin, in a perfect natural way. Fans of a strong contour or highlight should probably look elsewhere, but I think both provide a really gorgeous contour. Shade wise, anyone significantly darker in skintone than I am will probably find that the contour won't work on them. See the swatches below!

I will note that the product has a light herbal scent in the jar, though I have not smelled it at all when applied to my face. I also have had good wear time with these, though given how emollient the product feels, I suspect that skin types who typically have trouble with cream cheek products may struggle with these too.
Tata Harper products are also vegetarian, cruelty free and sustainably produced. (Read more about them here!) I seriously love this bronzer and highlighter, and am so glad to see all of the cool products that green beauty brands are releasing these days!
