My purse can get pretty cluttered sometimes but lately I've been keeping it organized with the help of the Truffle Clarity Pouch and a pared down selection of beauty essentials. I'm not a girl that reaches for much during the day, so this little bag has been keeping unnecessary clutter at bay!
My lips can be pretty flaky sometimes so I always have to have some lip care items with me. I'm seriously obsessed with the Ilia Balmy Nights Lip Exfoliator which I can just throw on and scrub off in a restroom without the hassle of using a product in a pot. I also like that it is not overly scented or flavored, and the last few weeks, I've been topping it off with Dior Addict Lip Glow which seems to do just fine hydrating my lips this summer. (Sometimes I need much more than this!)
On the other hand, I still seem to need a somewhat rich handcream, and my current go to is the Aesop Reverence Aromatique Hand Balm. I love this one year round, and it just cheers me up to see this luxe packaging. I also keep Aesop Ginger Flight Therapy in my bag at all times, since the scent is so soothing when I'm feeling not quite right. Though it is meant for flights, I think it is a nice pick me up for mild headaches, nausea and general motion sickness.
While I probably don't use these as often as I should, I like having the Sephora Collection Blotting Papers handy in case I get oily or need to look more presentable. Similarly, I keep a small sample size of my absolute favorite perfume, Diptyque Eau Rose, in case I need to freshen up.
Aside from these much loved products, you can see that I have a mascara spoolie (for brushing stray lash extensions!) and an Emergin-C, and I'll usually throw in things like Advil, headphones, or random makeup items for the day. I love how this little pouch keeps all the important stuff in one place. Now if only I could keep the aloe, hand cream collection and miscellaneous snacks out of my purse for more than a day or two...
What are your handbag beauty essentials? I'd love to know!
