At the tail end of 2014, I suddenly realized that I wasn't paying any attention to the skin on my neck. It's a weird thing to think about, and nobody seems to talk about it, and I've completely ignored it.
The reason I started thinking about it though, is that I have SPOTS on my neck. Like, freckles. Is it age? Sun? I don't know. Does it even matter? The thought of sun damage AND aging is definitely freaking me out now...
The above photo from a few weeks ago is actually what instigated my panic. You can definitely see the spots in question. WHAT ARE THEY?? To say the least, I was alarmed.
A quick perusal of sephora.com shows a number of targeted treatments specifically aimed at lifting and firming the neck... And a Google search reveals quite a bit of high end skincare with advanced ingredients. Where have I been?
Fancy products aside, I'm starting to put whatever skincare I'm using on my neck. Wish me luck in remembering that in my normal routine. I can't even remember to put on eye cream. #lazygirlproblems (Also. WHERE DID I PUT MY SUNSCREEN?)
Now I'm starting to wonder if I'm forgetting other important areas to slather on skincare. Seriously. What other areas am I forgetting? Behind my ears? My chest? My hands? I don't know! Do you have products specific to the less cared for areas, or a particular routine that you follow? I'd love to know!
