At the beginning of the month, I committed myself to using at least one new to me product every day. While I can't say I've stuck to it everyday, I have tried a whole lot of things! Any progress is good, right?
Anyway, I thought I would share some first impressions, as I'm sure it would take me ages to give any of these products a proper review!
I had mixed feelings about my last Marc Jacobs Highliner experience, and this time around I determined that these liners just don't work for me. They fade on me without primer in about 6 hours, though they do not smudge. This particular shade, while quite pretty, also just had shimmer particles a bit too large for my liking.
The Becca palette on the other hand... I think it will be love. A completely matte and neutral palette, these seem to apply and wear well!
I hate to admit how long I've had this gorgeous Rouge Bunny Rouge bronzer (at least a year) but now I definitely understand why it has been so popular in the blogging community. It is very finely milled, and just looks nice on! I also really loved the pretty taupe Armani shadow, which made for a great everyday look with liquid liner.
These Omorovicza items are another set of things that I really hate to admit how long I've had (again, at least a year!) but I am thoroughly impressed with them so far. They're luxurious in look and feel, and the moisturizer does a great job keeping my winter skin hydrated while the cleanser leaves my face clean but not stripped.
The First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads are one that I can't evaluate yet, but using them was a pleasant experience and I hope to enjoy them as much as others do!
Somewhere in the middle of all this I also started using my new Chantecaille Magnolia, Jasmine, and Lily Healing Emulsion. It is a lovely rose moisturizer, that's for sure!
Anyway, now onto the Suqqu. I understand why everyone raves about the brand, as the texture of these was quite amazing. Soft, finely milled, and just all around gorgeous. I feel like my makeup skills are not good enough for this!
This was a good day for trying something new! I'm loving the Smashed version of the Bite Agave Lip Mask, and I totally failed to take vitamins despite carrying around these handy packets from Hum*...
I think I'll definitely like the Kevyn Aucoin Sensual Skin Foundation*, a foundation reminiscent of the Armani Maestro. Plus I think the combination of shades in the Kat Von D Innerstellar palette will just be perfect for me!
Hopefully I can get back on track for the rest of the month and use something new everyday... Feel free to follow along on my Instagram and be sure to tag me if you decide to join in! <3 What new stuff have you been using lately? have you found any new favorites? :)
