Lush Superbalm Is My Superhero This Winter

Today's the day for Lush's new haircare, so be sure to pop into a store and check it out if you're out shopping! I am seriously loving what I've tried so far, and I can't wait to try even more! :) Now, I'm always on the lookout for a hair product that will soothe my itchy scalp. I don't know what it is, but my scalp is just itchy ALL the time. Fortunately, I don't have dandruff most of the time, but boy is that itch SUCH a pain!

I had been using Lush Hair Doctor, which has helped soothe the itchiness pretty well. Now that winter is here however, my scalp has gone crazy. I've run out of Hair Doctor, and  been really enjoying the new Roots Hair Treatment as well, but Superbalm just sounded like the PERFECT solution.

lush superbalm review

Housed in a small tin, Superbalm really is in the form of a balm and has a light scent. Again, I am happy that the scent is not strong, and does not linger in your hair after rinsing the product out.

At first, I wasn't sure how easy it would be to use a hard balm like this, but I found that rubbing your fingers on it easily warms up product. Yay! Superbalm is not meant to go in your hair, so I am careful to just massage this into my scalp when I apply it. I haven't had any issues rinsing this out either, phew!

The only thing I am not too sure about just yet is how much product I should be putting in. Probably more, I imagine, since I always seem to put in far less product than I ought to be. Nonetheless, I've barely scratched the surface of this tin with a few uses, and it has helped soothe my scalp for a day or two each time. Perhaps if I play around with the amount of product I apply, I will have even better results!

Have you tried this or any other Lush haircare? Do you have a favorite product to combat itchy scalps?? :)

P.S. I hope everyone in the U.S. had a great Thanksgiving, and are enjoying Black Friday so far! :)
