As the weather got colder in the last few weeks, my skin became seriously dehydrated. Very few products seem to have any effect, as the cold, dry air just seemed to immediately strip my skin of any moisture when I went outside. During the Sephora VIB sale, I had read a few positive reviews of Origins Make a Difference Plus+ Rejuvenating Moisturizer, so I decided to purchase it and give it a try. I don't love moisturizers packaged in pots, as I get tired of sticking my fingers inside and getting junk in my nails. However, I seem to end up with lots of moisturizers in pots! Oh well. This one has definitely been worth it.
As I've been wearing this in the past 10 days, my skin has been perfectly hydrated. Seriously - one day I used a different moisturizer and I immediately felt the tightness around my mouth and forehead as my skin dried up in the cold air. This one has the typical Origins scent that is light and clean, and the texture of the cream is quite light as well. What really caught my attention at the store was that when you smoothed it into your skin, it absorbed SO quickly and almost immediately felt like I had nothing on. I can already see that this will be a major help this winter. As it gets colder, I may need to layer this with another moisturizing option, but as of right now this works amazing on it's own. I've also been terrible at washing my face these past weeks, and this is typically the time of the month that I do break out - I'm happy to report that I have had NO BREAKOUTS whatsoever, despite my poor cleansing habits!
Have you tried this or any other skincare item from Origins? What are you using to keep your skin hydrated this winter? :)
