*Updated* Review: Guerlain Terracotta 4 Seasons Tailor Made Bronzer in Brunettes

I spent the early part of 2011 obsessing over this bronzer and trying to find a reason excuse to purchase it. I finally picked it up in the shade Brunettes this fall, and it really is gorgeous. Like many Guerlain products, it has that luxurious signature scent. The powder is incredibly fine like all of the Guerlain powder products that I've tried.

No flash, with the four shades from lightest to darkest and the farthest right swatch is the 4 shades blended together. Below is the same shot with flash. These swatches are just ONE very light swipe of the product.

*Update* I wanted to take better photographs of this bronzer for all of you that are interested in it. I know I had the toughest time finding ANY reviews of it before I finally bit the bullet and purchased it. In these new swatch photos, I've pressed much harder than I normally would to give you guys a good idea of the color. (My boyfriend jokes that I keep my makeup museum quality... And I have to admit that it's true, sadly...!)

I've swatched clockwise around the palette, and the last swatch (on the right) is the shades blended together.

Here's a shot of me wearing the colors blended. I used the Too Faced Retractable Bronze Buki, which applied it lightly in a diffused, glowy way. (It was pretty sunny, so sorry for the squinty eyes!)

I also wore it in this post here, with a Trish McEvoy brush. This bronzer wears all day for me, and with these new swatches they didn't just come off in water - I actually had to rub! I do have other photos of me wearing this that I will post as well.

Compared to some of the other Guerlain bronzers, this one is pretty tightly packed but the powder itself is still amazingly soft and fine. This is a matte bronzer, which is a huge plus for me.

Guerlain bronzers are the top of the line, and this one is especially pricey, but it's very versatile and will clearly last ages. I love theBalm's Bahama Mama nearly as much in terms of pigment and quality. For those of you looking for a drugstore dupe, I think Revlon's new coral reef bronzer (Gucci Westman for Summer 2012 collection) appears to be very similar.

What is your favorite bronzer? Have you tried this one?
