Better late than never right? I didn’t end up keeping all the products I finished this summer, but these were quite a big part of my routine in the last few months!
I’ll start off with the products I love and will buy time and time again. I always come back to the Kate Somerville Eradikate treatment when my skin acts up, and have bought this and recommended it so many times. If you can catch a blemish forming, this cuts the healing time in half. I’ve seriously even prevented huge blemishes by using this.
I’ve been a loyal user of Nars Pro Prime Eyeshadow Base basically since it came out. It lasts forever on the lids, and one tube also seems to last forever. It’s matte and clear (although the brand did just release tinted ones!) and it has always worked really well for me. It also doesn’t feel silicone-y like some of the other primers out there.
Another one of my favorites is the Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Foundation. This mini size started to get kind of old, so I tossed it, but I literally have this foundation in multiple shades so I can wear it year round. Sephora has these minis in their promo section all the time!
I have such mixed feelings about the Estee Lauder Micro Essence Skin Activating Treatment Lotion. I liked it when I used it, and I felt like it worked to help hydrate my skin, BUT nothing really wowed me about it and I used the whole bottle. I always feel like there are products at a similar price point that would either wow me or have nicer ingredients. 🤷🏻♀️ I won’t be buying this again unless I struggle finding something that works for me.
The Tatcha Overnight Memory Serum Concentrate* is such a beautiful, interesting product. I reviewed it when I first received it and the jello like texture that reforms is just so cool. I loved how it hydrated & soothes my skin, which I find to be the case with me and many Tatcha products. I’m exploring other overnight products but I wouldn’t hesitate to use this one again.
And last but not least, Kate Somerville Exfolikate Gentle is definitely on my wishlist. This fuss-free exfoliant worked on my skin well, didn’t irritate it or dry it out, and was nice to use. I’ll definitely be buying it once I finish some of the other products in my stash!
What have you finished from your beauty stash lately?? Are any of these your favorites too?
