My Favorite Massage Bar: Lush From Dusk Till Dawn
For Valentine's Day, Lush released this cute little citrus massage bar and I just knew I had to have it. I initially thought it was limited edition, so I bought it right away and felt a little sad that I might not see it again till next year's collection. The other day, I saw it featured on the Lush website and in an email I received, so I thought I better post about it while I had the chance! :) I must say that this is my favorite massage bar that I've tried so far because of its cute shape and scent! As a citrus freak, this one is just so nice for me. It smells like a nice tangerine Italian soda, and it melts into that lovely moisturizing oil texture like other Lush massage bars do. With gingko and ginseng oils to stimulate the senses, and moringa oil to soothe the skin, this massage bar just puts me in a good mood!
My boyfriend thought it created oil faster than some of the others, but it felt pretty much the same to me. At first, I thought the triangular shape would be strange to use, but it turns out that it makes it easy to do different things with it. You can hold the pointy end easily and use the flat side, or even roll the bar for an extra massaging effect!
All in all, I hope this bar stays around for a while. I don't think I'd want to be without it! Have you tried this or any other massage bar? Will you be grabbing this one? :)
Lush From Dusk Till Dawn is a 1.8 oz bar that retails for $7.95 and can be purchased at LUSH Cosmetics (affiliate link).
Sweet Dreams with Lush Dreamtime!
For some reason, I always forget that Lush has moisturizing bath melts, so when they offered to send me Dreamtime, I was pretty excited to try it. Chicago winters result in itchy dry skin for me unfortunately, so this is the perfect opportunity to experience this!
Dreamtime is filled with soothing scents to help you relax and fall asleep easy. Jasmine, lavender, chamomile and sandalwood create a soothing soft scent, while the oils in the bar melt into bathwater and feel great on skin. It is hard to say if it would help me go to sleep, as I would always like to go to sleep and have had a particularly sleepy feeling week. (LOL!)
I've used half a bar per bath, and it feels as if i have coated myself lightly with a nice oil or massage bar. The scent is also quite pleasing even though I dislike lavender - oftentimes, lavender just sticks out and makes me the opposite of relaxed, but this doesn't bother me at all. YAY!
Now at first I thought this was the first bath melt I've tried, but as I thought about it, I realized I had tried the You've Been Mangoed Bath Melt quite a few years ago. I can't remember how I liked that one, so now I know I'll have to grab it!!
Have you tried this or any other bath melts from Lush? Do you have a favorite moisturizing bath product? I'd love to know! :)

I'm Ready to Take On the Day with Lush Back for Breakfast Shower Gel
A while back, Lush sent me the Back for Breakfast Shower Gel, a product intended for "waking up groggy minds." Those of you who have been reading my blog for a while may recall that I like sleep, and the number one reason why I barely wear makeup is because I'd much rather sleep. Actually I have fallen into the habit of snoozing for at least half an hour and then scrambling to get ready for work... So yes, this shower gel is the perfect product for a night owl citrus fanatic like me! :)
Back for Breakfast is filled with lemon, lime, and grapefruit, which to me makes a really pleasant light citrus. Initially, I even found it to be almost floral, which could be the bit of honey in that's in the shower gel for its moisturizing properties. But who knows, I think my nose was being weird that first time I used it. Back for Breakfast lathers quite well and creates nice bubbles, and I find it to be quite nice for morning. I'm all for citrus scents in the morning that aren't too strong, because lots of scents can make me feel nauseous in the mornings! I can't decide if I like this one or Happy Hippy better, but I know that I may never be able to stop using a citrus shower gel from Lush in my morning showers. :)
Back for Breakfast is a retro item, which typically means that it is only available online. I do recommend that you try it out if you have the chance! What do you think of Lush Back for Breakfast? What is your favorite Lush Shower Gel? :)
This product was provided for review. Lush Back for Breakfast starts at $9.95 for 3.3 oz as shown above and can be purchased at LUSH Cosmetics (affiliate link).
