Lush Holiday Collection Wishlist

I don't know if you've noticed, but I'm a big fan of Lush Cosmetics and their clever holiday collections. If you haven't noticed, Lush's holiday collection is in stores NOW (!) and there are lots of lovely items you can get yourself (*ahem* I mean friends and family). It was hard even to decide on a few products I desperately want, because really, I want them all. Eek! So here goes!

The Best Wishes Gift includes one of my favorite bath bombs, So White, which is an apple scented concoction laced with bergamot, neroli and orange flower. The inner layers even turn your bath pink! I am also quite curious about almond scented Snowcake Soap, and the adorable, spicy Melting Snowman Bath Melt.

I am seriously obsessing over Party Popper and Crackersnap, which both promise fun surprises inside. Not only is Party Popper a happy pink and blue, but the bergamot, tangerine, and rose PLUS confetti sound right up my alley. I feel the same way about Crackersnap, which includes a reusuable bubble bar inside and smells of lemongrass, bergamot and rosewood. (Do you spot a citrus trend here? :))

Winter Wonderland is another gift set I would love to try out. At $13.95, I may even be able to excuse buying it now as a gift to myself, as the Snowcake Soap sounds quite holiday spirited and I've heard so many good things about Dream Cream!

On the soap front, I'm loving the lemon-grapefruit of Snow Globe and the cheery colors of Northern Lights. Last but not least, I MUST get my hands on another Golden Wonder! I received one for Christmas last year, and it was just a really fun experience as all the different layers (and cute stars!) popped and fizzed.

While I have MANY things on my Lush wishlist, I'm desperate to pick up some of these as soon as possible, before they're gone for the year!  Have you tried any of these Lush goodies? What's on your wishlist from Lush's holiday collection? :)

I'm Feeling Tempted by These Foundations!

I've suddenly become very interested in trying a new foundation. Yes, I'm dead set on purchasing Marcelle BB Cream, and I'll more than likely purchase my winter color of Nars Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer, so in the end I probably don't NEED to try a new foundation... but my curiosity seems to be winning the battle right now! Hourglass Veil Fluid Makeup Oil Free SPF 15 - I tried a sample of the immaculate foundation once, and it was not the right finish or shade for me, but it was quite nice, so I'm curious...!

Givenchy Photo'Perfexion Fluid Foundation SPF 20/PA+++ - I tried a sample once and while the shade wasn't right, the texture and finish were gorgeous!

dr Jart+ V7 Beauty Balm - I tried a sample of the premium BB cream and the coverage was quite nice but the shade was too light for me. I'm curious now about this one - could it be my shade?

Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation - This just sounds nice for winter, and Chelsea over at thedauphine loves it, so now I'm really curious!

Fresh Umbrian Clay Freshface Foundation SPF 20 - I'm really enjoying the coverage of Fresh Umbrian Clay Concealer, so if this foundation is just as good, then I'm sold!

Koh Gen Do Aqua Foundation - Tried a sample in the wrong shade the other day, but the finish was quite nice. I definitely want to try the proper shade and see what that looks like!

I also want to give Armani Maestro another try on my skin, but it is a bit harder for me to get my hands on some of the above options. My local stores don't have a lot of these, so I can't just pop in and have them make a sample. Grrr. So now I'm conflicted! Do you think I should grab one of these or stick to what I know works? Have you tried any of these base products? I'd love to know! :)

August Wishlist

Here are my wishlist items for August. I just got the VIB renewal 10% off coupon from Sephora, so perhaps I can pick up a few of the items soon. It's is definitely conflicting - I want to do well on my limited buy, but my boyfriend says that doesn't have to start till we go home... AHHH!

1) Hourglass Illume Cream to Powder Bronzer Duo - Been sort of wanting this for ages, and just realized the illuminating shade would make a pretty neutral eyeshadow too! 2) Kevyn Aucoin Sculpting Powder - Love this, and buying this for sure this month. 3) Guerlain Rouge G l'Extrait - Need to try this on, but loving the shade M65 Paresse 4) Stila Convertible Color in Poppy - Wouldn't have tried this bright shade, but it looks great on lips and cheeks and isn't scary on skin. 5) Laura Geller Balance N Brighten - I like this powder, so I'm keeping this on the wishlist for a time when I want a powder that can even my skintone! 6) Suqqu Cheek Brush - Looks great on all the blogs and Lisa Eldridge videos. Maybe someday I can get one! 7) Guerlain Rouge G in Georgia 62 - Love this shade, and the creamy formula of this lipstick is just amazing! 8) Burberry Lip Cover in Tea Rose - Need to try this on, but seems like just the pink I'm looking for! 9) Le Metier de Beaute Creme Fresh Tint - I hear so many great things about this product and keep forgetting to test it out! 10) Givenchy Ombre a Fleur de Peau Eyeshadow - I love eyeshadows, and this seems luxurious!

Keep putting it off because I don't want to pay shipping from Canada! 2) Koh Gen Do Brightening Spa Moisture Mask - Love this, just wish it wasn't so expensive! 3) Badger Anti-Bug Balm - Saw this at the store the other day and really want to try it! 4) Butter London Primrose Hill Picnic - Such a pretty bright pink! Don't need polish now but someday I will get it! 5) Sara Happ Lip Slip - Don't need a balm now, but once I've finished a few I will definitely pick this up! 6) Lush Amandopondo - Love their bath bombs and bubble bars, and I want to try this for sure! 7) Philosophy take a deep breath - Want to try this once I've used up moisturizers 8) Jo Malone - Can't decide between Orange Blossom, Wild Bluebell, and Verbenas of Provence. Hoping there will be some awesome starter kit for the holiday season that will have a variety of scents!

Current Wishlist

I am constantly updating my beauty wishlist, and realized that I haven't shared it with you guys at all recently! My wishlist is constantly changing, and I maintain it in a checklist app on my phone as well as the shopping list within Sephora's website and mobile app. I love keeping a list of products I want to try as well as taking what I want to buy and prioritizing them, and then crossing them off or deleting them as necessary. Do you do something like this, or am I the only one that makes obsessive lists?

[Top Row] Tom Ford Lipstick in Violet Fatale - This lipstick formula is to die for, and I love the beautiful shade of this one. This is my next purchase!

Stila Convertible Color in Poppy - I didn't expect this to be the perfect rosy/berry shade for me. It makes my lips have awesome color, and the boyfriend loves how it looks on cheeks.

Guerlain Rouge G L'Extrait - Love the promo photos for this product, and can't wait for it to come out so I can get my hands on it!

Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer Cream Compact - I love tinted moisturizers and do enjoy Laura Mercier's offerrings. I'm interested to see if this will work for me!

[Middle Row] Suqqu Cheek Brush - Looks amazing from all those Lisa Eldridge videos. Can't help but want it.

[Bottom Row] Benefit Go Tropicoral - Suddenly interested in coral shades this summer + would like to try all the products except High Beam, which I know I like.

Lancome Blush Subtil Palette in Nectar Lace - Can't wait to see this in person. Always loved the delicate look of Lancome's Blush Subtil line-up. Once upon a time, Miel Glace was my first department store makeup item!

Laura Geller Balance N Brighten in Medium- I am not a powder girl, but this really seems to even out my skin tone. This would be a someday item, if I do find the need for a powder like this.

Daniel Sandler Water Blush in Gentle - Seen a few videos and this looks like just my thing + easier to use than MUFE HD Blush.

[Top Row] Marcelle BB Cream - I think I should just quit searching for US drugstore options, because what I remember of this one just seems so much better than what I've tried here.

Bobbi Brown BB Cream - Seemed to give great coverage, but I need to investigate this more!

Koh Gen Do Brightening Spa Moisture Mask - Love this clay mask and the way it cleared and tightened my pores. Skin felt smooth and clean for days too. Need to buy this one day, must prioritize beauty budget after finishing current mask!

Butter London Primrose Hill Picnic - Love this gorgeous hot pink!

L'Oreal Silver Sparkle - I hope this shade is still available, because I totally need it!

[Bottom Row] Sara Happ Lip Slip - Heard great things about it, so it's on the list to try later.

Nuxe Reve de Miel Nourishing Lip Balm - Also heard great things, so it's on the list for the next lip balm!

Philosophy Take a Deep Breath - Love the light texture of this, and will likely purchase once I run out of current moisturizer. Boyfriend will use it too!

Jo Malone Orange Blossom - I love this scent, especially paired with English Pear & Freesia. Hoping a holiday gift scent will include this scent, otherwise the  travel size is on my Christmas list!
