What I Wore #8

This week, I posted my makeup bag pretty late, and was afraid I wouldn't manage to really wear makeup at all for the rest of the week! Fortunately, I did manage to wear makeup, YAY! On Wednesday, I wore the following goodies. I was happily surprised by Becca The Ultimate Mascara, and I just love the gorgeous pink shade of Burberry Lip Glow in Pink Sweet Pea. I threw on other basics like Nars Tinted Moisturizer, Rimmel Scandaleyes in Nude, and Benefit Eye Bright. I managed to misplace my Fresh Umbrian Clay Concealer and Clinique brow pencil, both of which I wore all week!

On Thursday and Friday, here's what I wore besides the missing concealer and brow pencil. I LOVE Koh Gen Do Moisture Foundation, which I will review in the next few weeks. Diorshow Iconic Overcurl is still great, and Stila Convertible Color in Poppy was nicely buildable on lips and cheeks.   

Pretty basic everyday looks, but I'm so happy that I managed to do it! What did you wear this week? Any standout products? :)

What I Wore, #6

This week's makeup bag was, well, a mixed bag. I loved wearing Stila Convertible Color in Poppy, and I can see that Diorshow Iconic Overcurl will be another successful addition to the Dior mascara lineup. I enjoyed the Estee Lauder Stay On Shadow Paint formula, but the shade Halo isn't quite what I was looking for. Same thing with RMS Uncoverup - a nice formula, but the coconut scent wasn't my favorite.

The peachy toned Urban Decay Naked Skin BB Cream was an interesting product to try, and I can see how much fun I'll have with the Boscia Bronze BB Cream this summer.

What I Wore, #4

I have to say that this week's recap of what I wore is pretty pathetic. Again. Fail!

I started off the week well, as I managed to wear EVERYTHING I selected for the week's makeup bag plus Chanel Stylo Yeux in Beryl. I was so excited, and I had high hopes! But alas, sleeping in won, and I only managed to throw on the gorgeous Burberry Lip Glow in Pink Sweet Pea on Tuesday. It all went downhill after that…

Groan. I am really failing at using any of my collection, though having these weekly bags does help! How will I ever have empties or reduce my collection if I can't even wake up on time in the mornings?? LOL! Advise me, wise readers! :)

What I Wore, #3

This week was a pretty unsuccessful week when it came to wearing makeup. I did manage to throw on a bit of Nars Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer a few days,  but other than that, the mornings were pretty hopeless! I mean, if you don't count the day that I threw on some kohl eyeliner my coworker brought me using my phone camera as a mirror on my lunch break... LOL!

Anyways, back to the tinted moisturizer! I already seem to be getting a little darker as winter is progressing - I'm not sure how! In any event, wearing the shade Alaska is starting to seem too light (to me only) and St Moritz is much too dark! So one morning, when I really should have been leaving for work!

So that got me thinking. Do you mix different foundation formulas, or just stick to two shades of the same product? Is this something you do often, or do you just have the perfect base shade? I'd love to know!
