A Perfect Holiday Gift: Lush Rosy Christmas

Christmas is fast approaching, and I'm sure many of you have not yet finished your shopping. (Or am I wrong, and you guys are all really good at planning ahead? Did you know there are the fewest days between Thanksgiving and Christmas this year?) Anyways, I thought I'd help you along with a nice affordable gift set from Lush!

I'm all for roses and moisturizing products, so I was thrilled when I received Lush Rosy Christmas. If you're on the hunt for an affordable, gorgeously wrapped gift, look no further!

lush rosy christmas review

Lush Rosy Christmas ($15.95) contains two travel sized rose-scented products to make those winter showers a little more luxurious. Ro's Argan Body Conditioner is an old favorite for my winter skin - slather it on and rinse off, and that dry itchy skin is on it's way out. Read my original review here

Lush Rose Jam Shower Gel is topping the charts of my favorite shower gels. A bit more moisturizing than others, this argan oil infused gorgeousness is just a winter luxury. While Lush's Rose Jam scent may not be for everyone, I know that i quite like it. (Cute and Mundane has a great description of the scent in her review here) All I can say about the scent is that it smells like roses with the sweetness of jam. Ha! So descriptive!

Relax This Season with Lush Bath Bombs!

The holiday season is upon us! I love the holidays, and I thought I'd kick off the season by sharing some of Lush's holiday bath bombs. I believe they're all limited edition, so grab them while you can and enjoy some comforting baths this season!

For Twilight (bath bomb/shower gel) fans out there, you must try the Luxury Lush Pud. This lavender scented bomb is filled with moisturizing pastel dots that make the water smooth and comforting. Lush describes it as "fluffy and frothy" and I definitely agree. I love the almost magenta look of the bathwater too!

Bombardino is an adorable vanilla concoction that Lush describes as having a lemon-cheesecake aroma. It turns your bath water a pale yellow, and the subtle vanilla scent is definitely in the holiday spirit.

I can't stop looking at Shoot for the Stars, which is just a lovely star scene. Filled with the scent of floral honey just like the It's Raining Men Shower Gel, this bath bomb is just as visually pleasing in the bath! The bomb fizzes around shooting out yellow "stars", and I love the purpley color it leaves in my bath.

I'll be sure to pick up more of Lush's holiday bath bombs, as I'm sure I'll be needing some relaxing baths this holiday season! How about you - do any of these catch your eye? How do you relax during the holidays? I'd love to know!

Cozy Up with Lush Twilight Shower Gel

I'm generally not a fan of lavender, but for some reason I can totally handle it in Lush products. I was happily surprised by the Twilight Bath Bomb (review here) so I was sure that I would love Twilight Shower Gel.

lush twilight shower gel review

Just like its bath bomb counterpart, this sparkling purple shower gel is a comforting and subtle lavender concoction. It lathers up quite nicely (better than some other Lush shower gels!) and doesn't leave sparkles on your body. I just can't get over how comforting it is!

At the moment, I believe Lush Twilight is limited edition for the holidays, so be sure to get your hands on a bottle when you have the chance! What do you think about Lush Twilight Shower Gel? Is this something you would pick up for yourself? :)

Jump In the Bath with Lush's Halloween Creatures

 *Press Samples

I'm not one for Halloween, but I'm all for celebrating with a bit of Lush's Halloween collection. Every year, this is something that I look forward to, and while I'm happy to see some of the permanent items year round (especially last year's The Enchanter bath bomb), I think the limited edition items are quite fun.

lush pumkin bubble bar review, lush lord of misrule bath bomb review, lush halloween 2013

Pumkin is a cute little bubble bar that reminds me of Mumkin from the spring collection. This little guy makes quite a lot of bubbles, more so than some of the others I've tried, and they sure do last a while too. Scented like the Fig & Leaves soap, which to my nose is mostly orange blossom, these silky bubbles leave my skin nice and soft.

Lord of Misrule is a tricky little bath bomb scented with patchouli and black pepper. Green on the outside, the pink within emerges quickly and changes the bath into a reddish shade perfect for celebrating Halloween. I even feel like the little swirls are like ghosts! As the water sits for a long time, the shade turns to magenta, which I quite like too! (Below is the bath water as the pink emerges.)
